Unofficial Pete Bennett

Pete Bennett is 24, single and from South London but now living in Brighton. He is unemployed but also a budding rock 'n' roll singer with his band "Daddy Fantastic" and keen cartoonist. Pete was diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome at the age of 14, started wearing women’s clothes aged 16 and impersonated Freddie Mercury at his mother’s wedding.

Week Seven Nominations - Tuesday 4 July
Pete was caught discussing nominations and was banned from making any himself this week. He also received his first nomination since the show began from Glyn, although the solitary nomination was not enough to put him up for eviction.

He's In! Thursday 18 May
Pete made a remarkable entrance into the Big Brother house and even fell down the stairs on his way in (although a little staged). His hyperactive manner prompted housemate Bonnie Holt to ask what he was "on".

When asked why he wanted to appear on Big Brother he replied: "To reach the top of my spiral to heaven and shine again. Also, if I was to win the money I would like to pay off my mum’s mortgage so she can finally live her life because she looked after me for so long. And I crave fame and would like to be a famous Touretter".

He l ives alone in Brighton except for a pet hamster called Magic, who roams his house and lives in the wall.
